Our Story
The place where every day is Christmas
A rustic stay wrapped in luxury — and a family behind every detail.
Reindeer Ranch sits on 50 acres of rolling Fayette County countryside in Carmine, Texas — seven miles from the famous Round Top square and eleven from Giddings. It's the kind of land that slows you down on arrival: a private pond, live oaks, painted buntings in the spring, and a night sky that still does its job properly.
We named the cabins for Santa's reindeer — Rudolph, Cupid, Dancer, and Blitzen, with Comet, Donner, and Vixen on the way — because this place was built around the spirit of Christmas: generosity, warmth, and the kind of gathering you remember for years. Around here it isn't a season. Every day is Christmas, and the whole ranch is decorated to prove it.
This is a family operation, and it shows in the details. The 55-foot porch on Rudolph that begs for a long conversation. The garage-style wall at Cupid that opens your living room to a Texas rainstorm. The outdoor gathering compound where one guest's playlist becomes everyone's evening. We built the ranch we wanted to escape to — then opened the gate.
Whether you're here for Antique Week, a romantic weekend, a writing retreat, or a holiday with the whole crew, you'll find the same thing: real quiet, real comfort, and people who are glad you came.
