What a holiday stay looks like
Cold mornings with coffee on the porch, kids hunting rocks along the pond, evenings around the outdoor gathering compound with everyone's favorite Christmas playlist on the surround sound. The skies out here get dark enough that the stars do the decorating.
Rudolph — our largest, most private cabin on its own twelve waterfront acres — is the family favorite, with a 55-foot porch made for hot cocoa and long conversations. Couples escaping for a quieter holiday gravitate to Cupid, where the garage-style wall opens onto a screened porch and a Texas winter evening becomes the entertainment.
Make it a tradition
Round Top in December means small-town lights, holiday markets, and none of the big-city crowds. Pair it with pie from Royers, a tasting at Busted Oak Cellars, and a slow drive home down a farm road, and you have the kind of trip kids remember at thirty.
