RV Camping Near Round Top, Texas: What to Know

Every Antique Week, thousands of dealers and shoppers bring their rigs to Fayette County — and every Antique Week, RV spots near Round Top are among the scarcest commodities in Texas. Outside show season, the area is a quietly excellent RV destination: dark skies, live oaks, and small towns strung along peaceful farm roads.
The current landscape
Most RV options cluster around the show fields and book out far in advance for the spring and fall shows, with multi-night minimums common. Year-round, options thin out considerably — much of what's available is utilitarian, designed for the show crowds rather than for travelers who want the countryside itself.
What we're building
We're adding four to five full-hookup RV sites at Reindeer Ranch — genuine elbow room on a working 50-acre ranch, seven miles from the square, with the same hospitality our cabin guests get. Not a parking lot with hookups: spacious sites, fire-ring evenings, and painted buntings for neighbors.
